What's the difference between a voucher and a gift card?
The gift gift voucher is a single-use document, issued for a specific amount and usable only once. The gift cardworks like a reloadable electronic wallet: it can be credited, partially used and reloaded at will.
How do I issue a gift voucher?
From your cash register, simply enter the desired amount. Clictill point-of-sale solution generates a ticket with a unique barcode. This code is scanned at the time of purchase, and the remaining amount is automatically calculated if the voucher is not fully used.
Is it possible to track the use of gift cards and vouchers?
Absolutely! Every transaction (issue, use, remaining balance, validity date) is recorded and can be consulted at any time from the customer file or sales reports.
Is it possible to define a validity period?
Absolutely. You can set an automatic expiration date according to your commercial policies (e.g. 6 or 12 months). After this time, the voucher or card becomes inactive.
Is multi-cashier functionality compatible with NF525 certification?
Yes, each cash register complies with the requirements of standard NF525 standard: inalterability, security and data retention are guaranteed on all cash registers in your network.
Can I reuse a previously issued gift card?
