Bleu Libellule chooses Clictill to equip its 300 stores
Background
Before becoming users of Clictill POS software, Bleu Libellule stores were already equipped with POS software distributed and integrated by JLR Distribution, the current publisher of Clictill.
The relationship between our two companies began in 2013. At the time, the Bleu Libellule network consisted of around 50 stores, in mainland France only. Today, Clictill is used in over 300 stores not only in mainland France, but also in Italy, Luxembourg and Tahiti. We have been able to support our customer and will continue to do so, as Bleu Libellule aims to double the number of stores in France, as well as expand internationally.
Why does Bleu Libellule use Clictill?
Here are just a few examples of the problems encountered in the Bleu Libellule project that we managed with Clictill.
One of the Bleu Libellule project’s special features for boosting sales is that it always offers its customers a wide variety of promotions.
In fact, there are constantly more than 100 promotions set up in the dedicated Clictill module that can be applied at any time at the checkout. Of course, it’s completely transparent for the cashier, and the promotions are automatically triggered as the items are inserted, if the triggering conditions are met.
We therefore find :
- Where the customer benefits, for example, from a free item, a discount on an item or a discount on the ticket total.
- permanent or valid only for a defined period
- applicable to all boutiques or only to selected boutiques
- which only concern a certain type of article: on a specific department, brand or range, for example
- which only concern a certain type of customer: private or professional, a certain fare code, holders of a certain season ticket…
Whether in the boutique or on the e-commerce site, the end customer is the focus of the Bleu Libellule teams’ attention. That’s why, to improve customer satisfaction, Bleu Libellule quickly adopted an omnichannel approach, not only for the management of its customer base, but also for its loyalty program. Customer file creations and modifications are replicated on both software applications, and the same loyalty rules apply on the web and in-store. In other words, customers accumulate loyalty points whether they buy in-store or online. The same principle applies to rewards: once the threshold has been reached, the customer’s reward coupon is generated in Clictill, sent to him by email by the CRM, and he can use it in the store or on the web. Thanks to its webservice-based API, interactions and data exchanges between Clictill and external systems, in this case with the e-commerce site and the CRM, are facilitated.
For all the products offered in the store (nearly 30,000 items), Bleu Libellule manages several different sales tariffs depending on the type of customer. And for each of these basic levels, the brand also offers its customers the opportunity to subscribe to a preferential rate compared with the basic rate, for a certain period of time.
Managing this multitude of pricing options may seem complex, but everything in Clictill is designed to make the cashier’s job easier, and to reduce the time it takes to collect cash. All the user has to do is identify the customer on the sale and scan the products, and Clictill takes care of the rest, making all the checks on the price to be applied according to the customer’s tariff code, season ticket and card validity.
Always with the aim of maximum customer satisfaction, in the event of a product being out of stock in store, Bleu Libellule not only offers its customers the option of ordering the product and returning it to the store, but also of having it delivered directly to their home, to an address of their choice, or to a relay point.
All the operations required to manage this problem are carried out in Clictill :
- Checking stock availability at the head office before placing an order
- Enter or check the required delivery address
- Partial or total payment of the merchandise, depending on the case
- Automatic generation of the associated purchase order
- Creation of a computerized delivery note once the merchandise has been dispatched from the head office (if the merchandise is returned to the store).
We can conclude by saying that Bleu Libellule is an innovative company, with a strong desire to always offer its customers something new.
