Restocking management
Anticipating out-of-stocks, avoiding overstocking and ordering at the right time: restocking is one of the pillars of efficient stock management. However, when carried out manually or “intuitively”, it can be time-consuming and error-prone.
With Clictill POS software, stock replenishment becomes a simple, reliable and fully guided process. The system analyzes your sales, minimum/maximum thresholds and projected requirements, and automatically calculates the quantities to recommend.
The advantages of restocking proposals
Clictill’s replenishment proposals enable you to drastically reduce the risk of stock-outs. The solution analyzes your stock levels, sales or minimum/maximum thresholds, and automatically identifies items that need to be restocked.
the function also enables you to manage your purchasing more intelligently. Thanks to several calculation methods, you can adapt your restocking strategy according to seasonality, product rotation or supplier constraints.
Finally, restocking proposals integrate naturally with the rest of your inventory and purchasing management. In just a few clicks, you can transform your calculated requirements into a purchase order, without having to re-enter quantities.
How does it work?
The Clictill replenishment module analyzes your stock and sales data to determine which items need to be restocked. Simply define your criteria: stores concerned, suppliers, item families or other useful filters, to target the products to be analyzed.
the POS software then applies the restocking method of your choice:
- reach your minimum/maximum thresholds,
- reconstitute your sales over a given period,
- project requirements according to your sales rhythm and supplier lead times.
The system then calculates the quantities to be recommended and clearly presents requirements by item and by supplier. All that remains is for you to adjust, validate or transform these proposals into purchase orders.
In just one click, orders are generated in your Clictill POS software and ready to be sent to your suppliers!

All your questions about restocking management
What calculation methods are available?
Three methods are proposed:
-
Mini / Maxi, to maintain optimal stock levels,
-
1 for 1, to reconstitute the exact quantities sold,
-
Needs analysis, to project requirements according to sales and supplier lead times.
Is restocking compatible with a multi-boutique network?
Of course, you can analyze and process requirements store by store, or consolidate data for your entire network.
Can I filter proposals by supplier, store or product family?
Yes, you can target your analysis by filtering by store, supplier, department, family, brand or specific item.
Do the proposals take account of orders already in hand?
Yes, depending on your options, Clictill can integrate current customer orders or purchase orders to propose an adjusted and realistic requirement.
Can we adjust the proposed quantities?
Yes, before generating a purchase order, you can modify the final quantities proposed by the system, line by line.
How do you manage seasonal or temporary needs?
The “needs analysis” method allows you to adjust your projections using a coefficient. In this way, you can adapt restocking to a peak in activity or an anticipated drop.
